Keeping your hair looking beautiful at home doesn't have to be complicated! Following these simple tips will help extend the life of your color, keep your hair healthy, and maintain your salon results for as long as possible.

Wash your hair every 2–3 days.

Washing less frequently helps preserve your hair color while allowing your natural oils to nourish your hair. This is especially important after a lightening service, as it helps prevent your ends from becoming dry or brittle.

Use professional products recommended by your stylist.

The products your stylist recommends are selected specifically for your hair type and service. Using salon quality shampoo, conditioner, and styling products will help protect your investment and keep your hair looking its best between appointments.

Minimize heat whenever possible.

The less heat, the better! I'm a big advocate for air drying whenever you can or using heat styling in moderation. Try to extend your hairstyle for a few days before restyling to reduce unnecessary heat exposure. And whenever you do use hot tools, always apply a heat protectant first.
